| White |
White. What is its significance? It makes us know the unknown. Everyone agrees that there is an unknown force that guides the entire universe. White is the form of the force.
If black represents a question, white is its answer. All thoughts of the world consider white colour as a symbol of divine knowledge. Himalayas, which receive the first rays of cosmic, are perfect examples for white colour. All visible and invisible colour combinations are reflected as white in our mind.
Even science supports the argument that human mind functions like mercury! When we think of solution to a problem, our brain releases electric waves, which resemble city lights. In men, right and left parts of the brain operate in different ways, depending on the matter they think. But in women, both left and right parts operate simultaneously. Scientists were able to picturise woman's thoughts, which showed milky-white miniatures. True, man is always a "tube light." He has to admit, sometime or the other, that what she says is right.
Like twinkling stars in the dark sky, white symbolises hope. By nature, white colour represents sacrifice. It reflects all the colours and does not absorb any. All white goods are cool and pleasant. People in arid areas mainly wear white clothes. Places of worship, lighthouses on seashores and sails of ships are visible even from a long distance, only because they are white in colour.
Home decorators suggest white colour or light colours with whitish tinge for painting the walls of houses, for better ventilation!
